Read the Wall Street Journal or other financial magazines regularly. This will show you’re prepared and you’ll be able to share your own opinions rather than copying others at group interviews. Make sure you know your personal story and can deliver it in a way that’s not over-rehearsed.

Best interview questions for a candidate to ask:

Ask questions that show you are interested in the industry, company, and role as well as on latest project the company is working on or industry trends.

Advice on overcoming nerves prior to an interview:

Arrive at least 10 minutes before the interview to get yourself familiar with the environment and take a deep breath.

Resume tips:

  • Avoid typos – these can lead to bad impressions! In addition to your experience, make sure you include your extra-curricular activities.
  • Make sure you have good descriptions for each of your experiences but avoid being too lengthy.
