As the functional heart of Markets & Banking (CMB), Operations supports and manages a wide spectrum of transactions within a highly controlled environment. The speed, accuracy and integrity of data flowing through our systems is crucial to the success of our core global business. In fact, Operations makes everything we do possible. We are continuously working to monitor, improve, and expand our ability to provide clients with highly efficient transaction processing solutions with global 24-hour access, seven days a week. This is especially critical as financial products become increasingly more global and complex, and as settlement cycles become more compressed. With responsibility for the management and clearance of more than 650,000 trades and the movement of a trillion dollars or more in a single day, this is a dynamic working environment that supports Citi’s ever-increasing volumes and sophisticated product offerings.
