The main European location for technology is our European HQ at Citigroup Centre, Canary Wharf, London. In addition to London we have technology offices in a number of cities including Frankfurt, Dublin and Belfast.

We have a dedicated Technology Training team who ensure that hundreds of classes are available for booking via the Training Website. The courses cover business, industry and product programmes, web-based training, technical and personal development courses. We aim to allow our technology staff to grow in their careers both technically and professionally. The appraisal and objective-setting process is embedded in the way we do business. In addition, our mobility programme supports the ability to transition within the organisation to continually develop skills.

In December 2003, Equity Derivatives Technology (EQTG) won the award for "Most Innovative Trading or Operations System" at the 6th Annual Financial Innovation Awards, run by the Institute of Financial Services with the EQRMS system. EQRMS is the real-time risk management and profit/loss platform developed for the Equity Derivatives business in Europe. It provides traders with a customisable front-end reporting application fed by real-time model calculations and brings together many technologies and solutions. Over 50 institutions, including Barclays, Credit Agricole, Credit Lyonnais, HSBC and JPMorgan Chase, competed for the seventeen awards.
