The Financial Control function follows the legal vehicle organisation of the Markets & Banking (CMB) and has teams in all countries in Europe; the core team, including the legal entity management of Citibank International plc (CIP) and Citi Global Markets Limited (CGML) and specialist control functions, is based in the UK. Regulatory reporting ensures all broker/dealer entities are appropriately capitalised and compliant with reporting and other regulatory requirements.

Our Tax department manages Citis tax position from planning to compliance and audits, by serving as liaison with the Inland Revenue, state, local and non-UK tax agencies. We manage the tax planning process and co-ordinate the development of effective tax strategies.
Treasury:
Our Treasury function manages funding, liquidity and external relations with counterparties, investors and rating agencies. Treasury seeks to minimise funding cost and optimise capital usage while maintaining adequate levels of liquidity. Treasury is divided into several areas that represent analytics, transaction processing and financing functions.
Strategy & Planning:
The Strategy & Planning team is primarily responsible for providing management information and analysis to senior management in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). This includes strategic presentations, monthly business performance reporting, annual budget & forecasting, competitor analysis and significant ad-hoc information. The team interfaces with all business areas, senior management and other areas of the Finance Division.
