Citigroup Corporate Centre offers a full range of internal services to all Citigroup businesses around EMEA. It comprises the following businesses:
Technology Infrastructure provides telecommunication products and services to Citigroups business units. It offers one of the best technology platforms in the financial industry. Technology Infrastructure operates Citigroups telecommunications (Wide and Local Area Networks) and offers voice, e-mail, Internet, data processing and desktop services worldwide in more than 100 countries. In addition, the division provides specific functions; including the operation of command and customer service centres, security control devices, gateways for remote access and host and server systems.
Audit, Risk and Review (ARR) is a global division of over 700 staff in 16 countries, ARR has the responsibility to perform the internal, independent audit and control review function for Citigroup, covering all businesses, functions and geographies.
Corporate Realty Services (CRS) provides real estate support services to all businesses. CRS is dedicated to provide all Citigroup businesses with premises that are cost-effective, safe, productive and valued by our customers as a strategic partner in their successes and by our employees.
Citigroup Business Services (CBS) is a "shared services" organisation with a concentration of resources leveraging common activities across Citigroup businesses. CBS leverages Citigroups scale and efficiencies in common activities that are not core to any individual business, with a goal of lower cost and higher service levels.
Citigroup Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) provides integrated security and investigative services by maximising the return to the company by leveraging resources and balancing risks with the cost of reducing them.
Citigroup Corporate & Financial Systems (CCFS) provides business and technology systems solutions that improve profitability and competitiveness within the company while maximising operating excellence. CCFS supports and develops primarily Citigroup Shared Services applications and has a presence in New York, Dallas, Tampa, London, Singapore, Manila and India.
Risk Architecture
Risk Architectures primary goal is to support Citigroups efforts to be seen and recognized as an industry leader in Risk Management.
Citigroups Risk Management framework recognizes the wide range and diversity of global business activities by balancing strong corporate oversight with defined independent risk management functions at the business level.
At the corporate level, the risk management functions are responsible for establishing corporate standards and ensuring their on-going appropriateness, approving policies and limits and reviewing major risks and exposures across the organization. Business-specific risk managers are responsible for establishing and implementing risk management policies and practices for their respective businesses while ensuring consistency with corporate standards.
